YEARS OF COLD Preparing To Record New Material

July 27, 2009

YEARS OF COLD, the El Paso, Texas-based band featuring former PISSING RAZORS members Matt Lynch and Cesar Soto, has issued the following update:

"Well, we have been extremely busy both in and outta town and the time is upon us to hit the studio once again in the coming weeks. This time we have elected our friend and colleague Scott Sargeant from the famed SKINLAB and M.O.D. fame to front our next session. His experience and professionalism will surely bring the best out in YEARS OF COLD and we are very excited to be collaborating with him on our next installment of studio work!! The complete session will take place in Austin, Texas in mid-September and be completed for availability to the public by late November or early December, just in time for the holidays. For now, we have various road dates upon us in such areas as Colorado Springs, Chicago, Dallas, Mesa, Houston and Los Angeles once again and hope to see many of you out on the road!"

According to the band's official bio, YEARS OF COLD "is built on a vast and brooding concept of classic groove and intense atmosphere. Having made long strides in a very short time, this West Texas juggernaut has already begun carving a stylistic scar in the face of the Southwest, United States. Upon completion of its first Midwest run of dates in the fall of '08 along with opening dates for the likes of GOD FORBID, DROWNING POOL and IN THIS MOMENT. YEARS are demoing material soon to be available for streaming. With the arrival of 2009, the sky is the limit it seems for these Texas natives who have once again returned to the studio for another installment of sonic brutality soon to come along with more live dates to a stage near you!"
